Communications

Telephone charges
– The local area code in San Francisco is 415, and local calls are .35 cents. All telephone charges including long distance are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out.

E-mail, FAX and the Internet – The Concierge Desk will gladly assist you in sending and receiving Faxes, e-mail printouts, etc. If necessary, e-mail may be forwarded for immediate retrieval and printing to FrontDesk@SFSuitesCSA.com . If your e-mail is of a very personal or sensitive nature, or if you wish to peruse the Internet, you may plug your computer into the telephone jack in your Suite to access a dial up network. The charge for using a dial up network is .35 cents, the same charge as a local telephone call, for as long as you wish to remain connected to the dial up network. This charge applies for each use of the dial up network; there is no by-the-minute or hourly charge for using a computer in your Suite. Please contact the Concierge Desk regarding using your computer with a WiFi network. In addition, several Internet Cafés are located close to the Suites. All applicable charges are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out. 

In-Suite Dining

Each Suite has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, large electric oven and range top, microwave oven, coffee maker, glassware, china, silverware, kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Additional kitchenware is available by contacting the Concierge Desk.

The refrigerator in your Suite is stocked with a selection of beverages and snacks for you to enjoy during your stay. The menu and pricing for these items can be found in the Guest Services directory in your Suite.  The items are replenished on a daily basis, and all charges for consumed items are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out. 

Breakfast and Room Service – Breakfast is prepared to your order and available to you in the Board Room daily. You may also request breakfast delivery to your Suite by contacting the Concierge Desk. Breakfast is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. The menu of available breakfast items can be found in the Guest Services directory in your Suite. All breakfast charges are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out.

Additional services

Babysitting and child care services
– Our Concierge Staff will be happy to arrange a pre-qualified babysitter for your children at your request. All charges for this service will be posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out. 

Beverage and hors d'oeuvres Service – The popular pastime of meeting fellow guests and owners has been a tradition at the Suites for over 20 years. We offer complimentary wine and cheese service in the lobby of the Suites daily from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM. Additionally, sherry is served in the lobby area daily from 8:30 PM until 10:30 PM.

Alcohol warning – drinking distilled spirits, beer, coolers, wine and other alcoholic beverages may increase cancer risk and, during pregnancy, may cause birth defects.

The Board Room – We gladly offer personal attention to you regarding use of the Board Room, located just off the lobby on the ground floor of the Suites. This room is utilized on a reservation basis only. A retractable screen is available for your use for meetings requiring overhead projection, and the kitchen is also available for your use. There is no charge for using the Board Room, but should you require set-up and clean-up service, the charge to you for this service is $15.00 per hour. All applicable charges are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out. The Concierge Desk will happily assist you in suggesting caterers for special events, meetings, card games, etc. 

Cash advances – As a convenience to our guests, a daily cash advance of up to $100 is available to you with the deposit of a personal check. Your check(s) will be returned to you upon reimbursement of any cash advance. All cash advance charges are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out.

Check in time – Check in time is 3:00 PM daily. If you should arrive at the Suites early, the Concierge Desk will gladly accommodate you with an early check in, should your Suite be ready for you in advance. The houseman will assist you with delivery of your luggage to your Suite.

Check out time – As a consideration to arriving guests, our check-out time is 11:00 AM. For your convenience, you may check out and deposit your luggage and belongings with the Concierge Desk until your departure, should you wish to enjoy the City unencumbered. If necessary, the Concierge Desk will accommodate a pre-arranged late check-out time for you.

Comment card – A comment card is provided in your Suite. The compliments, suggestions, concerns or complaints you address in your card are VERY helpful to the Management, Staff and Board of Directors of the Suites. We urge you to use the comment card during your stay.

Daily and monthly Publications – As a courtesy to our guests, we offer two daily publications (the San Francisco Chronicle and the Wall Street Journal) as well as the following monthly publications: Where Magazine, the Nob Hill Gazette, San Francisco Arts Monthly, San Francisco Magazine and Paper City. Upon request, any of these can be delivered to your Suite; prior arrangement for daily newspaper delivery (discretely slipped under your door in the morning) may be scheduled through the Concierge Desk. All publications are available to you on a first-come, first-served basis and are free of charge.

Entertainment – Each Suite features a remote-controlled color cable television, a combination DVD / VHS tape player, and an AM / FM stereo compact disc/cassette tape player. If you need assistance using these amenities, please contact the Concierge Desk. The guide to local television and radio programming can be found in this directory on following pages. Several music compact discs and DVD films are available to you free of charge by contacting the Concierge Desk.

The Gazebo – Our rooftop gazebo is a welcoming haven for morning coffee or a glass of wine at twilight. The gazebo is free for you and your guests to use. To reach the gazebo, take the elevator or stairs to the fourth floor, and take the fourth floor stairway to the roof. Be sure to set the bolt on the door to stop the door from closing behind you.

Housekeeping and Houseman services – Daily housekeeping is provided for every guest in each Suite. Suites are scheduled to be cleaned between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, based on available access. Please contact the Concierge Desk If you wish to have your Suite cleaned at or by a specific time. Additional towels, bed linens, etc. will be provided upon request. If for any reason you do not require housekeeping, change of linens, etc. during your stay, either contact the Concierge Desk, or simply utilize the privacy sign found in your Suite; place the sign on the doorknob on the outside of the door to your Suite. 
Upon request, our on-duty houseman will deliver special items such as cribs, pillows, blankets, toiletries, towels and linens, rollaway beds, etc. The houseman will provide nightly assistance with the retractable and convertible beds, will provide nightly turn-down service, and will help with your luggage and belongings any time you deem necessary. 

Ice – Ice is readily available in the freezer compartment of your refrigerator. If you need additional ice, please contact the Concierge Desk to arrange delivery. All applicable charges are posted to your guest folio and payable upon check out.

Pets and animals – We are sorry, but pets are not allowed at the Suites. Service animals are permitted with prior arrangement with the Concierge Desk, followed by approval of the Management.

Safe deposit boxes – For your protection, it is advisable that all guests place their valuables in the safe provided in each Suite. This amenity is free of charge and can be found in the closet of your Suite. Please see instructions in your Suite for using your safe deposit box. Additionally, you are welcome to utilize the safe in the Manager’s office; please contact the Concierge Desk to make arrangements to use this safe.

Smoking – As a courtesy to all our owners and guests, smoking of any substance is prohibited in your Suite. Evidence of smoking will require a fee for additional housekeeping services to be added to your guest folio and payable upon check out. Smoking is only allowed outside the building. 

Smoking warning – quitting smoking now greatly reduces serious risks to your health.

Wake-up calls – We will gladly arrange a telephone wake-up call via telephone anytime you wish. Please contact the Concierge Desk to arrange a wake-up call for any time you desire.
